Molly and Me
Since 1995, Molly Ford has been designing and making animal-themed Character Towels (Honey Bears, Frogs , Sharks, Spiders, Bunnies, Puppies, and so on). More recently, she started making micro-fleece and faux fur jackets, vests and hats of all sizes, for children and adults.
Molly was born in Vancouver and raised in a craft-oriented family whose workmanship always exuded creativity and quality. Her working life included many years at the Woodwards Department Store, in the Fabrics, Yarn and Sewing Supplies Department, where she worked until the store closed.
Molly has had many exciting orders over the years. Once, she was contacted by a company in Israel that requested her to supply them with Character Towels; after much red tape, the towels were safely airmailed. Another customer who bought two towels phoned from London, England in a panic, saying that after five years his children outgrew their towels and desperately needed new ones; we airmailed them their order and the man called back delighted at our service.
We have recently moved and created a larger workshop so that Molly can continue to create new items for her Molly & Me product line.
